Hi everyone! :wavey: Well here I go again…..I’ve had food diaries on this site before and have switched between SW and WW a few times! The last time I was on WW was this time last year when I was trying to lose a few more lbs in time for my wedding and honeymoon! I managed to get down to 10st and I felt ok at that weight. Then came the wedding :love047:, fantastic all inc. honeymoon in the Maldives :candledinner:(absolute paradise!) and then Xmas and I managed to put 10lbs back on! So all year I have been messing around doing a couple of weeks of WW then a couple of months of SW and even tried Slimfast for 3 weeks and I’m still the same weight as I was after Xmas haha! Anyway I’ve decided enough is enough and I’m turning back to WW which is the only diet that seems to work long term for me (I lost 3 stone on it about 7 years ago, most of it stayed off too!). I started back last Saturday when I weighed in at 10st 10lbs and have managed to stick to it, even over the weekend I was good which is usually when I go off the rails! :break_diet:I always have a Friday night treat although I am trying to cut the portion size of that to limit the damage. I would like to lose the 10lbs I have put back on. I am not a fan of exercise but am trying to keep myself more active at home rather than just sitting on the sofa all night watching the soaps lol! I will try to update daily – any comments or suggestions are very welcome, I have found this site very helpful in the past……oh I'm on 19 points a day (ish!), will weigh in on a Friday morning and am not attending classes......Wish me luck...;)

Saturday 14th August – 10.10
B: 30g Cheerios with ss milk (3)
L: 1 x bread roll (2), chicken (1), Velvet Crunch crisps (1)
S: ½ Twix (2), 1 x LC egg/cress sandwich (2)

Total: 19 :D

Sunday 15th August
B: Oatsosimple (3)
L: Pink iced doughnut finger (6?)
S: WW mini cookies (1.5)
D: Shepherd’s Pie – 125g x lean mince (3), 200g mashed potato (2.5), ¼ packet mix (0.5), 15g lf cheese (1), gravy (0.5)
S: Coco Rocks Cereal bar (1.5)

Monday 16th August

So far so good this week, feeling really positive and I 'feel' like I have lost a little bit of weight off my tummy, hope it's not just wishful thinking!! Here's to another 100% day!

WI tomorrow morning! Looking forward to it actually coz I do feel like my trousers are looser. I have never been someone who has big losses each week and I guess I'm within my 'healthy weight range' anyway so losing does get harder, but fingers crossed, I would love to have lost 2lbs!! Have had 5 100% days, 6 including today barring any self sabotage attempts later haha! On a Friday I will be careful all day and only use half my points up til Dinner, but will have a treat at night without counting points (prob Chinese mmm) so Friday will never be 100% on plan.

Friday 20th August - First WI!! Dern dern deeeeeeerrrn..drum roll please...3lbs off!! :D:D:D Can't believe it I'm so pleased with myself, especially as totm is imminent (hence all the chocolate in today's food diary below, sometimes you have to go with it hehe). Good loss for me in one week. Am going to be having a ‘treat’ night tonight, but will try to stick to max of 25 points as this would be my ‘maintenance’ allowance so shouldn’t hurt for one day :eek:. Straight back on 19 points Saturday! Here's to another 100% week....

WW mini cookies (1.5) - far too early for a mid morning snack haha, but I'm starving today, and I know why, I hate being a woman sometimes. btw which bread rolls do you use which are 2points please? only ones i've found low are the ww ones but sometimes im in a rush so cant wait 10mins for them to bake in the oven :D ha thankyou! :) xx

Hi there :) thanks for reading and commenting! I've done well this week, lost 3lbs which is a really good loss for me in one week! Really pleased with myself today :D

The bread bun was just on the small side ha so I took 1/2 a point off! :eek: so it was a guestimate I have to admit to that.

The Cheerios Clusters are really nice. Basically just Cheerios, with some small cluster type things mixed in that taste vaguely vanillary (not sure that's even a word :eek:). After being on SW, it's nice to be able to eat what I call 'kiddy cereal' sometimes rather than just bran/wheat type cereals. Anyway thanks again, and I'd better go and update my diary etc....here's to another good week!!

By the way, well done on your fantastic losses!! You're doing so well you must be so proud of yourself!!
 
Very well done on your 3lb loss - it's such a motivator to have a good loss isn't it. Your meals look really good - I love looking at what other people eat, it's so easy to get stuck into a rut of eating the same things so it's great to get some new ideas.

Aw thank you so much, it does feel good to have a good loss just got to keep my motivation up now and keep having losses! You've been doing really well hope I managed to do so well in my first month! I love looking at other people's food diaries too for inspiration!
 
Wow well what a fantastic but very busy weekend!! I have managed to stick to WW which is a great achievement for me on a weekend :D, and dern dern deeeeerrrrnnn...I became an Auntie to a gorgeous little boy!! So lots of shopping was done haha! Here are my food diaries for Sat/Sun.

Saturday 21st August

Breakfast = 4
2 x wm bread (1.5)
1 x frylited egg (1.5)
2 tbsp baked beans (1)

Lunch = 4
1 x bread bun (2.5)
1 slice turkey/scraping light salad cream (0.5)
2 x Quorn mini eggs (1.5)

Snack = 1.5
Coco Rocks cereal bar

Dinner = 6.5
1/2 pack carbonara pasta n sauce (3.5)
Birds Eye Peri Peri chicken chargrill (3)

Total points = 16.5 but had one full sugar coke so not sure how many points that would have been to add to this total

Sunday 22nd August

Breakfast = 3.5
40g Honey Nut Cornflakes with 125ml ss milk

Lunch = 5
1/2 pack carbonara pasta n sauce (3.5)
2 x Quorn mini eggs (1.5)

Snack = 2
Special K high fibre bar milk chocolate

Dinner = 6.5
Tesco LC sweet chilli chicken noodles

Snack = 2 (est)
10 Galaxy Counters

Total points used = 19 sweets may have been more than 2 but have done lots of painting and walking this weekend so not too worried if they were a point or so more.
 
Monday 23rd August
This week could be a bit of a hormone power battle haha!:rolleyes: Totm and chocolate cravings are not a great combination so I'm going to schedule chocolate into my points every day so that hopefully will help me stay on track. Wish me luck!

Yesterday went well, I only had the chocolate I had included in my points :D so I feel good about that!! I also did over 2 hours of painting (walls) last night so burned a few calories off doing that! Here's to another good day...

Another good day yesterday, although I must try to use my points on something other than chocolate for snacks! But I have an excuse this week - hormones!! And I'm so so busy at work and at home this week is flying by, just hoping I can keep track of my points and keep trying to plan food properly or that's where it will all fall apart! I don't 'feel' like I have lost anything so far this week but I guess again that could be down to hormones so I'll be happy with 1lb loss this week if it happens, fingers crossed!

Still busy busy busy!! Still don't 'feel' like I have lost anything this week but we will see tomorrow. Choc craving seems to have worn off a little bit today :D I'm quite proud of myself for sticking to points this week it's been tough!

Friday 27th August 2010 2nd WI - lost 2lbs!! :D
Feeling really happy at losing 2lbs this week, especially as it's totm! This weekend will be tough (diet wise, but great otherwise :)) as got a wedding do tonight and a wedding all day tomorrow. I'm planning on sticking to points today, having a day off plan tomorrow - I'll eat a sensible breakfast, then the wedding meal and will just choose as sensibly as I can at the buffet at night. Straight back on it on Sunday :) Should be ok as normally I'd have a take away at the weekend anyway. Depending how bad I am tomorrow I can always drop a point a day next week to make up for it if I have to. Here's to another good week, and hopefully another loss :)

What a fantastic weekend!!:D Not the best foodwise but I tried to be careful where I could!

Saturday had sensible breakfast, then 3 course meal at around 4pm which was soup, then like a sunday roast and a small cake type pudding. Around 10pm had two small triangular sandwiches, half a very mini quiche and a very small square choc brownie. No idea of points at all but didn't eat much in terms of volume today so hoping not too bad!!

Sunday 29th August
Meant to be back on plan, was until around 7pm when I had been out all day and couldn't be bothered to cook and had a chinese although to be fair I only ate half as much as normal because for some reason I got full really quickly!

Breakfast = 3.5
40g honey nut cornflakes (2.5)
125ml ss milk (1)

Lunch = 6
WW chicken fahita wraps (4.5)
Coco Rocks cereal bar (1.5)

Dinner = ??
1/4 portion chips (3?)
1/3 portion beef satay (2?)

Total points used = around 23 I think! Not too bad, again, not alot of food just not great choice for Dinner!



 
Monday 30th August
Right, back on plan today! Haven't planned my food though so will have to be careful! Especially having had an 'off plan' weekend more or less! Will try to stick to 18 points a day til WI this week due to the weekend I've had! And I may be facing a 'sts' this week due to having lost so much (for me) in my first 2 weeks then having an 'off' weekend! I'll be happy with that though as long as I don't gain!!
