Thanks again - still no call - I have just tried calling and her answer machine came on but cut off. GRRRRRR. I should hear fro her today late in the day. I hate the time zone issue.

I will let you all know when I finally get through or when she calls me.

No news is good news, I think.

At last, I have heard from them!

PHEW....lymph glands are clear!! So, that is great news.!!!

Poor kid - surgery was meant to be 3-4 hours - was 7 in total. Mom said she looked truly beat up by the time she came out of recovery.

But what a relief. Now it is healing time. I don;t know what the treatment ahead for her will be - if they are going to do any radiation or not....but its suche a huge huge huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge relief to have finally heard then enws I believed I would hear., Its just better to hear it for sure.

Thanks SO much everyone. Really. It's rough bein so far from home, and at least this way I didn;t feel entirely alone.
