I started my wl journal in the wrong thread. This is my new journal. The 1st post are from a few days ago.

Today is my first day on this site but not to weight loss. I am 29lbs from my highest weight with a long way to go. I'm not sure what my goal weight will be. Right now, I'm just aiming for a healthier life. I'm a type 2 diabetic and I'm also struggling to get off of the diabetes medicines.
I'll use this diary mostly to record my activity to stay motivated on this journey.

i just found out that we're having a family get together next spring. i'd love to really knock off 40 lbs by then. i'm hoping for more, but i'm a slow loser at times so we'll see how things turn out.
 
today was my first weigh in on this site. .8, which is a real disappointment but i'll take it. i'm on my way to do some walking now.
 
0.8 is almost a full pound.. stick a pound's worth of something in a bag and carry it with you all day - it'll really remind you that even a little bit of weight makes a difference x
