As per title. .. . . . Does anyone watch any good diet or fitness programs ? When and what ch ? Any good motivational books ? Thanks in advance :) Please excuse typos in The title ? I can't correct on my phone :-(
I suppose it depends what you're looking for. I love the biggest loser usa as the transformations are so dramatic over the series. (A new one started on loving a couple of weeks ago). Of course watching them isn't really what it's all about so I set up a turbo trainer to convert my bicycle into an indoor cycle machine and pedal away whilst watching it. I used to watch it whilst eating ice cream but I think this is probably better!

I've not read any diet books, they scare me slightly as they seem to be about convincing you about their diet rather than laying things out and letting you decide but I could easily be wrong. As for motivational books it might not be right for other people but I love 'The Long Run' made me cry a bit but also realise I can do anything I want!

Xxx

I love biggest loser, a year to save my life etc, I just wasn't sure if there was anything I'm missing out on.

I also love food program's Great B B O being one of my favourites but I'm yet to find someone who doesn't like that .

I read a few books last time I was on here but am looking for anything to keep me motivated and on track x

How about some healthy recipe books instead? They wont tell you what to do with your life like diet books but might give you some inspiration for new ideas, which will keep you motivated :)

How about an exercise DVD rather than a fitness show?

...I don't like Bake Off *hides*...

I may look into healthy option books, good idea.
I was thinking of getting some fitness magazines, last time I done quite a bit of exercise walking around 50 miles per week, I also joined a gym and hired a professional vibrio plate for 12 weeks but I'm honestly not sure it made any difference. I'm off work for at least 4 weeks with a bad back ( couple of discs out ) so exercise is out of the question at the moment but I will walk further as soon as I can but only as I like it not because I'm on the plan if that makes sense.

No need to hide lol GBBO can't be for everyone but you are the 1st lol, I've watched it from series one and not only like the cooking / baking aspect but I love Paul Hollywood ( now my turn to hide ) x x x

Ooh walking is so good for you, I'm not sure about exercise on Cambridge as I don't know a lot about it, but it definitely makes a difference healthwise.

I don't know anyone else that dislikes it, think I'm alone on that, but I can't stand Paul Hollywood! Do have a Food Network addiction though, not good for the diet! X

Pauli e quirks wrote a book about her lighterlife journey. Also there's a book called 'slimmer charlie' (think that's the title) about a man who lost loads of weight and was featured on this morning. I have read a few others but have long since read got rid of and forgotten the titles if it comes to be ill let you know. I liked all these books because they were basically lije r diaries on here, just diaries of one persons trials and tribulations during weight loss.

I don't have sky only freeview booooi! I'd love to watch the biggest loser - which they would make a box set!!!! But I've been watching fat - a year to save my life too. Secret eaters isn't on ATM I don't think and the only other ive I can think off is the amazing supersize super skinny but I'm guessing unless you want repeats you will have to wait till January for that one.
