Velma aims for Va-Va Voom!

I am soooo bad at updating this regularly...I apologise now for the diary spam, about to update since my last day :) Hope everyone is doing well!

Day Six – Wed 11[SUP]th[/SUP] Feb 2015
Today was a wee tough day – travelled down to Stratford with work so tried to be as good as I could during the day as I knew there would be some wine in my future…there usually is with work trips away. Made healthy choices as much as I could and used some weeklies - 18pp in total in wine, that’s NOT good. Oops.

Day Eight – Fri 13[SUP]th[/SUP] Feb 2015
WEIGH-IN DAY! I lost 1lb – even after not tracking yesterday (although I know that probably won’t show until next week!) but nonetheless I’m happy with that result. It was a tough week and I dipped heavily into my activity points, never mind my weeklies but it seems to be working... I also got pierced today, hence the wine (and it’s a Friday!) – it’s interesting though, writing my diary here is really highlighting how much I have a cheeky glass of wine of an evening and it’s really eating into my points. Food for thought (excuse the pun!)

Valentines Day today, and I’m lucky that my BF knows how important sticking to WW is so we didn’t go out for a meal, he made a lovely roast chicken with roast veg. I feel pretty glad that I stayed so low on points for this day, as it could’ve gone the other way so easily!

Day 11 – Mon 16[SUP]th[/SUP] Feb
So back to the work week and I had a GOOD day after being a bit (but not much) excessive over the weekend. I had a bang on track day for food, which was great since I have a dinner out tomorrow and a busy week coming up. I also got myself back to the gym, but didn’t have time for breakfast hence the weird brekkie item. This is also going to sound SO sad but I got myself a funky rotary grater from Ikea which means now I can cut the exact 30g of cheese and finely grate it knowing I’m definitely portioning right – I love it!

Sounds like you've been really good Velma, and well done on your loss, fab!! :D

(also I completely understand your excitement about your rotary grater because I have something similar *utensil geek here!* haha )

Thansk :) feeling pretty disheartened just now though, got weighed today because I'm away with work and will miss the other two weigh-ins otherwise and I've put 0.5lb back on! So frustrating...

And YAY for utensil geeks :D xxx
