Vic Vodkas dieting rollercoaster - back to it!!!!

Lets hope so... I'm concentrating on water drinking today, which is the hardest part for me since my op!

I bet you get full real quick. ! Im on my second black coffee had litre and half of water already.

I find it much harder to drink a lot of water in the cold weather.

well 2 litres is still good Linz. more than most I bet. do you have any hot drinks too?

oh wow - didnt realise it would be so noticeable so quickly and then go back with the water. You will have to keep glugging girl ;)

would you consider surgery linz? do you think exercise might help?

I never thought I would consider surgery but we'll have to see... apparently its pretty much all down to yr genes how yr skin reacts, when I lost alot of weight before I did have any loose skin but I'm 4 years older & another pregnancy down since then so it may be very different! I'm trying not to look until the summer I can keep it well hidden til then! I do want to get back into swimming which will help but I just have no energy at the mo & up until 3 months out they recommend you listen to yr body mostly, so after Christmas looks good for getting back into it!

ah ok Linz. well heres hoping your body is good and doesnt need it. and yes get some exercise in the new year :D goal next year Linz! forever!

Lol i know exactly what you mean. do you think its harder to lose weight in winter too cos your body tries to hold onto fat to keep you warm or am i talking rubbish ;)

just answered my own question.

"
Winter also sees a change in the activity of several fat-burning and muscle-building hormones.
For example, cortisol levels reach a low point in the summer [7]. Not only is cortisol associated with the storage of abdominal fat, it's also been linked to all kinds of health problems, including diabetes, heart disease and depression. Cortisol may also weaken your immune system, leaving you more susceptible to colds and flu.
Testosterone, a powerful hormone which helps you build muscle and lose fat, tends to peak in the summer and early autumn. It also reaches a low point in the winter and early spring [6]."
