I've been having alternate blonde and copper highlights for a while now, and was getting I thought a little brassy, and the copper seemed more orangey... so I opted this time, at hairdresser's suggestion, for blonde + errr "brown" - kind of natural colour like my own... making it easier "next time"...

So while it's less brassy, and definitely less orangey (don't I make it sound lovely before!), it's now less noticeable... hmm... no one noticed I'd had it done actually!

I bet your office smells lovely NOT!

ah just went for a brown its nice - very veyr shiny and had some choppy layers cut in. the problem is the dye concentrates in one place after you have had it done so long - my ends are real dark.

No indeed, it is not low carb friendly, but it is gorgeous.

My substitute for Christmas/New Year? Vodka with Tesco Diet Ginger Beer. Not bad and pretty low carb!

You can even add splenda or other sweetener to make it more like crabbie's ha ha.

Mine seems to be changing colour with each wash. By new year I think it will be more purple than conker. Oh I mean chestnut lol.

yes i had a crabbies last night. Linz made me
been up early washing curtains cleaning windows and hanging curtains! Bloomin work is a nuisance ive got my cleaning head on and i have to sit here on my tod thinking what i could be doing!

Cinnamon ice cream

SERVES 6-8

• 300ml double cream
• 4 medium eggs preferably organic (yeah right cos im loaded not!) separated
• 100g caster sugar / Splenda
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon

1. In a bowl, whip the double cream until thickened. In another bowl, whisk
   together the egg yolks and the sugar until thickened and creamy in colour. Add the cinnamon and whisk again to combine.
2. In a separate, spotlessly clean dry bowl, whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Fold the cream into the egg and sugar mixture, then gently fold in the egg whites.
3. Pour the mixture into an airtight plastic container with a lid or into a serving bowl. Cover with clingfilm and freeze overnight.
