omg how cold is it!!!! went home at lunch to see the sausages and its freezing. got heating coming on before i get in so should be nice and warm..but probably that warm i wont want to go take the girls out for a walk!

Yes it is bloody freezing here too, had to scrape my car off before I could set off this morning. Tomorrow will be taking the kitchen to the tip once it is ripped out and it is supposed to blinking pour down all day - typical!

i should have got them aswell.i love playing with lego.
im tired this afternoon. very quiet at work and trying to make myself look busy! still lovely and sunny out...will see if i cba to walk the girls later eh? when its dark!
had 3 black coffees, just about to put kettle on for next one, 3 litres of water down the hatch too. fingers crossed ill have lost some bloomin weight by tomorrow (you know how impatient i am)

I went to whsmiths and there was a very nice lady at the counter. I brought todays paper and asked if she had any lego. She replied dont worry about the token then asked if i had yesterdays or Sat. Nope! So she gave me all 3. A snowman, a boat and some boaty plane type thing. Will get todays one again tomorrow with tomorrows one as still have the coupon. They had tons in the shop. Oliver really loves it and hasnt put it down. Great as he has some lego for his birthday.

Pumpkin with Ginger, Coconut Milk and Lime

Pumpkins turn up regularly in the organic box throughout the winter. I roast them, mash them and turn them into golden soup, but they also make a cheap and bright-tasting curry. This recipe really does improve even further with a day in the fridge. If you have any left over then it will be even better the next day.
Serves 4 with rice

medium onions - 2
groundnut oil -3 tablespoons
a large lump of ginger, about 60g
small, very hot chillies - 3
stalks of lemon grass - 3
ground turmeric – 2 teaspoons
ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
tomatoes - 800g
vegetable stock (or water at a push) -400ml
pumpkin or butternut squash -1.5kg
coconut milk - 250ml
