hi everyone i know people say you got to exercse when slimming, but i truly hate exercise prob the reason why i am so big ha ha ha, i do enjoy walking so does anyone know how far i would have to walk daily for sufficient exercise. thanks xx
It's 10,000 steps every day. I used to split it up into three 20 mins walks (I think, between 10-20 mins, anyway) and then all my other walking for the day.
Do all the walking you have time for, include some hills try to walk fast so you start to puff a little. I have been walking for years and find I need to run to make me puff these days.
I'd say forget the pedometer, most of them aren't accurate anyway. Look at your Body Magic book to see what SW recommend starting off and aim to get your awards. Find a route from your house that takes about 30 mins to power walk and do that for about a month then increase it to 45 minutes and keep increasing it as you start to find it too easy
