When I used to live and work in London, I used to pass a kebab shop every morning on my way to work. There was a stairwell at the side of the shop, leading up to rooms (postcards strategically placed advertising swedish massage, private sessions etc on the wall beside the doors and a selection of doorbells to ring for each service - am I setting the picture?) Just imagine how many people used these stairs, and perhaps not only to walk up!!! Well, the new freshly delivered kebabs for the week were lovingly laid on these stairs by the delivery drivers, no covers, no wrappers, just open to all the elements. Put me off Kebab shops for ever!
