Watch out for sneaky Syns!

I have just realised where I've gone wrong in the past with SW - "Sneaky Syns"! The other day, hubby (Mr H) offered me some pistachios. Why not, I thought, they can't be that bad. I'd had about eight, then decided to check - half a Syn each - I'd just demolished four Syns-worth in a matter of seconds.:eek:

Today, I had a couple of Extra Strong mints - half a Syn each! Again, :eek:

We always have large, dark chocolate drops at home to use for cooking, or just to have one or two on the side of our coffee cup for a choccy fix. After demanding that Mr H weighed each of them, I calculated that just two of these was 1 1/2 Syns - double :eek::eek:

These cheeky little Syns really add up, I just didn't think. I reckon before I started to calculate the Syns on absolutely everything, I was demolishing an extra 10-15 Syns pretty much every day, thinking they're so tiny, they didn't count. That's scary.

It's the sort of things that you can forget to put on your food diary, so watch out for the little critters!
