Ok, so after having a week off for birthday celebrations at the end of June/beginning of July, I gained 8lbs. But I ate and drank like there was no tomorrow, so I knew the damage i would do.
BUT, as promised, I went straight back on CD last Monday and weighed in this morning with a loss of 10lbs!!! I'm back on track. Hubby and I even had our anniversary on Saturday and did nothing to celebrate it in fear of doing more diet damage, but have promised each other a romantic meal when we go on holiday in October.
I WILL be thin!

Well done hon, that's fab news!!! I recently had a day off plan for a celebration and gained 6lbs in one day but straight back on plan the folling day and by weigh in lost 4.5lbs (plus the 6lbs I put on). So the moral of the story is if we have a blip/or planned break, if you get back on the plan as soon as you can the damage is minimal if at all!!!! :D:D:D

Well done True Blue, I think a few days off plan sometimes does you good just to 'be normal' for a while! Well done for getting back on track and even missing your anniversary celebrations, that takes some willpower. Like you say, you can postpone and how much better will you feel, celebrating when you are goal weight...
