Weeklies are driving me insane!

Ok so having read much about weeklies etc I thought fine I'll use mine, I gained! :(
After week 1 I used 20 weeklies earned 40ap's and dropped 4.5 lbs
Following week I lost 2.5lbs
This week I gained .5 lb and weighed this morning at home am heavier again!
Am now resorting back to using 20 weeklies no ap's I will however earn around 50 this next week I do a lot of classes
Am quite annoyed as what is the point in them putting weeklies there if they don't work and cause gains or sts.
Isn't the whole point of sticking to plan to lose weight every week?
Sorry for the rant but such conflicting views on weeklies I am now scared to touch them.

It's so frustrating when your body doesn't behave isn't it. I'm new to WW but when I was doing slimming world I couldn't use all of my daily syns, or eat too many carbs, if I did I gained weight. I think the same will probably apply to ww. Some of us just can't eat as much as others, I've screwed my metabalism, although, it's sounds as though you may be retaining fluid through all the exersize? Maybe youll have a big loss next week. Chin up!!!! Try not to panick and stick with it. Xxx

Hey honey, thank u so much for your lovely reply. I did have a week off exercise and this Saturday will e a week since I restarted so am praying this is what it is as I train hard. I earn 9-11 ap's per hour class and do 4-6 hours per week.
Just frustrating having 2 amazing weigh ins then this. But I guess I shall see.
Am going to use maximum 20 weeklies Wednesday is my weigh in day this is what Isis first week and lost 4.5 lbs so guessing this work for me.
I tried sw but I didn't like it. Too restricted and yet too much freedom to over eat. I hope I don't gain more would be so upset xxx
 
Hi, I know how you feel, weeklies are a bone of contention!
When I use too many I gain too, guess it is up to the individual body.

Like the last post said, might be water retention or totm?

I bet you have a great loss next week.

All your activity points puts me to shame, maybe I should hide the tv remote, might earn me some points that way....lol xxx
 
It's definately exersize fluid hun, I'm confident you'll have a loss!!!! With all that working out your muscles will have stored a lot of water to mend themselves.

I love SW and have lost loads of weight on it but I just needed a change and ww is going to work much better when I'm travelling with work I think. I'm loving being able to eat treats. I'm scared to used weekly points or activity points though as I probably will gain. :/

Ahhhh thank u babe :) :) :) yeah it could well be fluid because I just don't see how can gain what my scales say :/ have to be a patient lady and wait until Wednesday. Am determined to stick to the same pp's I used in week one and infancy I was on more pp's per day then as was heavier.

I really really want this to work. Being a recovered anorexic I can't eat without structure and this gives me freedom on this plan. Makes me feel normal again. An I haven't felt that in years. Nobody knows I am on the plan they don't need to. That's how good it is. Nobody would guess am on a diet.

And I get to eat my fav treats ( I love chocolate so the Ww bars are heaven to me hehe)

Scales and me have a bad bad history. Thanks for all your support lady :)

Ah thank u :) I know some people can use them and some can't. I use the Ww pedometer for ap's not that I ever eat them back ha ha. But nice to know ;)
Ha I love doing class, am an ex dancer so part of my life. And also had exercise bullemia thank god am over that but hence why I enjoy it. Xxx

No need to thank me honey, that's what it's all about!!!! I have an unhealthy relationship with food too, I restricted myself to about 400 cals a day for about a year and was frightened to eat anything. Then I went through a period of binging , especially chocolate, so I know what you mean about having structure. It really helps!!!! Only been doing ww since last Saturday-first weigh in tomorrow. Am really enjoying the freedom of it though and I'm being brave and eating much more than I normally would on a diet to make sure I don't get into the pattern of starving myself like before. Wow, it's such a psychological thing isn't it?!?! Xxxx

Yeah it is. Nobody realises but most people had some form of eating disorder. Whether it be over or under eating, over exercising its all the same. 400 cals a day babe wow I know how that feels unfortunately I ended up barely on 100 I wouldn't even go near food was a dark time. Then like u I went through binging although after starving its known as reactive eating and is yor body wanting to get healthy believe it or not.

I weighed in on Wednesday 10st 13 am 6ft tall so minimum ww will allow is 10st 7 my goal is 10 st 10 I was 11 st 8 when started sw a couple of months back so am getting there. Xxx
