Hello, I'm a newbie to minimins, sadly not to SW as I've been slogging away for 2 years and lost 2 stone only. My own fault though. I've joined up here to try and re-inspire myself :)

Hi everyone
Joined SW group in October with a friend and have been popping in and out of this site and found it so useful.
So took the plunge and signed up yesterday to the site.
I am 5ft 11 and my first weigh in 9.10.12 was at 15st 4 lbs
now at 14st 1 (20.11.12)
Target is 12st 10 and hope to get to this by February 2013.
Finding the support in group and on this site keeps me going and enjoying the plan

I'm new and already struggling. Birthday weekend, well meaning friends and family who know how much I love chocolate, and Christmas just around the corner.
I'm not giving up though.

I'm new to posting on this site. I originally lost 4 stone on Slimming World but have put nearly half of that back on. A new start begins here.
 
Hi I've been doing SW for 3 months now so a newbie lol.
So far lost 2 stone and want to lose another stone by August 2013, as we are going to Kefalonia for our 2nd wedding anniversary and plan to start trying for a baby ( after all, Kefalonia is where we got engaged and had our honeymoon so thought we'd try to conceive there too!!)
Just had my birthday weekend and Xmas is in 4 weeks so going to struggle but determined to do it.

Hello! I'm hannah, have been a SW member for a while but new to forums. I had lost 2 stone 5 pound but then life got in the way and i put on 1 and a half stone over a year but its creeping back down now currently at 1 stone 3 loss as everything has sorted itself out now. So i thought i'd come on here and get a bit of support! I'm getting married in august so have a good reason to strive towards target now!

Hi everyone - I'm Becky - I joined my local slimming world class at the end of October and have been following the Extra Easy plan. Recently found this forum due to lack of support from the consultant and felt I needed some extra help. It is going very slow but I am loosing - 11lbso far. My goal is to loose 7st overall but this is too scary to think about so focusing on my club 10 at the moment.
 
Wow Becky - 11lbs since the end of October isn't that slow! Don't be too.hard on yourself. I used to really struggle because I was losing 0.5-1lb a week where others were losing up to half a stone in a week - but actually my weight has consistently come off and I haven't had a gain yet (fingers crossed) where those that have lost quickly have yo-yoed. The important thing is to stick at it - you're doing fabulously!
 
Hey everyone!! Dont even know if people are still posting in here but i thought i would say HI!!! :D

Im new on minimins- this is my first post and i havent a clue what im doing!!

But im 24 and starting SW tomorrow- i have done it before- many years ago and i know it works!! I was diagnosed with PCOS and a Metabolic Syndrome- and thought SW wouldnt work for me- as i love my carbs- but a specialist i seen told me to do anything i wanted to lose weight- as long as its coming off! Sooooo.. here i am ready to begin my journey....
 
New to Slimming World - started last Thursday. Convince by my sister - she has lost 3 st, 9lbs- and it has changed her outlook on life. And she and I are the same size (18) for the first time in our lives. So the race is ON.

I'm not sure of my goal. Maybe not having aching heels after a walk, or not running out of breath going up a hill or stairs. I just don't want to be in the 'overweight' category. I am not particularly fashionable, but I would like to be able to buy clothes more easily. So not aiming for a beach body, but I just want to be more healthy.

Short term goal is to lose 1/2 a stone by Christmas. I'd LOVE to lose lots weight by Feb 4th- as I have a big work event on. I'm afraid to aim too high and get disappointed. I think 1 stone is realistic, but 2 stone might not be realistic.

I did weight watchers, but found the food counting was just tedious. Slimming World seems much easier after a few days. I'm not hungry!
 
Hiya, am new to this site and slimming world. I have been doing it for just under a week but am going it alone until I find a suitable class, so fingers crossed ive lost something! I'm 21 and have about 5 stone to lose which I've put on the last few years! This site looks like a brilliant way to keep me motivated, my willpower almost none existent.when I finally find my way around that is lol x
 
Hi I am new here, I am usually ok with my diet but have been poorly recently, weight gain a side effect of the drugs. I did Slimming World after the birth of my children and it was really good, it's as if I have been brain washed and I know the diet quite well so I am going it alone for now. I will need to keep my motivation by analysing, researching and posting on this site.
Hopefully this will be the beginning of returning to my usual weight. I have plenty of ideas for healthy eating, just hope to keep away from those annoying distractions this time of year, (mince pies).
