So I don't really know what happened but I came back from the gym had my packs and started to eat other sweet stuff that was in the kitchen!!! Wasnt soo much food but It was still a slip up!

Im living with my mum until October so there will always be food around. I feel like absolute rubbish!!! I'm so ridiculously determined but I still did it... Why?!!! The whole day I was 110% but I've just ruined it all now.

Im getting married in october and I have 12 weeks to lose 3 stone, then I'm planning to do a month of maintenance (going abroad to get married) before i have to go. But I don't think I'll make it!! I'm so scared I won't reach my goal of 10 stone. I'm scared I'll carry on slipping up, I can't get over what I have just done. I feel so guilty I know I have gained.

I don't know what to do and how to get over it... I need a good kick up the butt!!!!

I think the key phrase in there as to why you did it is "I came back from the gym"... :)

Doing strenuous exercise is likely to make you pretty hungry (how hard were you working out?). And you say you had your packs - does that mean you had more than one in a short time frame? Because if you did, the carbohydrate hit would've been pretty significant, enough to trigger hunger for more carbs (especially sweets!).

So I don't think you need a kick up the butt - what you did seems entirely reasonable to me. Are you exercising in the hope that it'll speed up your weight loss? Because unfortunately on this diet, it doesn't really work out like that. Over the years that I've been doing VLCDs (on and off), I've noticed that exercising often slows down losses.

Hi Lilly!

Thanks for your reply. You gave me a lot it think about. I do 50 minutes exercise but it's not like I'm sweating bucket loads after wards, I get kind of sweaty and red lol! I started exercising a couple of weeks back just to tone up and because I enjoy it. I've heard that you can't lose more weight by exercising on a vlcd, unfortunately.

I had only had a shake through out the day, so I had a bar and a shake when I came back from the gym. I didn't think that would be the cause of my mini binge!! I wont be doing that again, the guilt feeling I had yesterday was terrible! I checked my weight this morning and I'm 2lbs up. So I've got 5 days to lose the extra lbs plus more!!!
