What a difference a piece of fruit makes!

Hello all,

I posted a while back about not being able to find anything that fills me up for breakfast.

Well...I have recently been adding a bit of fruit to my sultana bran or porridge and it makes such a difference - it tastes so much nicer and fills me up for so much longer!

I've been having a banana (with honey on porridge) or cubed apple or nectarine. Thought this might be a useful tip to those struggling with filling breakfasts!

I agree the last couple of days I have added some raspberries to my yoghurt and cereal and I have def been fuller for longer :0)
I've always had grapes with my cereal and yogurt for breakfast, but found that recently I was feeling hungry well before lunch time.

Today I tried having 1 weetabix with 2 oat bran slices broken up (from the grab and go section of the HEB book) with my yogurt and grapes. Felt full right up beyond my normal lunch time without feeling the need to snack mid morning!

I'll be doing that again tomorrow...
