What are we eating today?

Ooh I know how you feel - I have some distinctly egg = yuck days. Best breakfast I've found to replace is nice ham, mozarella and tomato...

They are in the list on the Atkins site for induction, but come to think of it may not be in my edition of the book (and they're not on Jim's sticky on this site!) But I saw them in some of the sample menus, and I seem to have been managing fine, been constantly in ketosis so no harm done!

I don't think I'd be able to do without them!:eek:
 
B. Tesco low carb ready made strawberry shake
D. Salad box with bacon n chicken, cottage cheese, coleslaw, sliced egg and mayo
T. Salmon fillet stirfried with bit off cabbage, 2 spring onions, a leek and a mushroom using minced ginger, butter with garlic in it and a dash of reduced salt soy
Dessert - two pots of no sugar jelly and a spoon of single cream

Can of coke zero

LOL,i didn't today Penny, too hot. I had a egg mayo salad. But I have eaten that before. I usually treat myself to a fry up about once a week.

D. Salad box from shop with coronation chicken, egg, coleslaw and little cottage cheese
T. Not 100% sure yet, not got much food in! Probably eggs, bacon and the chorizo and pork asda sausages..
Dessert if hungry. No sugar jelly and cream

b - hard boiled egg - I am giving up on these, I hate them and this morning eating it made me gag and I was sick I am not going to force them on myself any more. If I have to start eating 'odd' breakfasts so be it!
snack - a bit of cheese as soon as I could stomach it to get the metabolism working!
L- feta salad, chicken
snack - some cheese and mini peperami
D - lamb kebabs, stir fry
 
Sparkles, I often make more dinner than we need and then have that for breakfast.

B: Porridge and berries.
L: I'm off to the Veggie Cafe for their 3 cheese and spinach melt.
D: TGIF!! The pub and then a donner and salad in a tray.

Hi PJ.
I do eat alot but not compared to before. Ive been lowcarbing for a while now babes so not hungry. I need to drop my carbs in a few days ( today has been good carbs) so to drop a little more weight.

U will find, with in time your not so hungry... Atkins rock!!

Ive slowed down in my weight loss but that has been my choice to. Im in no rush, as Jim Jim says, slow weight loss is GOOOOOD!!


Believe in the "diet" change. Give it time and it will believe in you! Promise!!!!

Looking back through this thread... wowzer Jim, that photo of the moist, lush, glistening fry-up is pure food porn!;)

Today I've had:

B Spring onion omelette

L M&S Greek salad tub

D plaice and stirfry (not had this yet but that's the plan)

Snacks - a couple of M&S sugar-free butterscotch. Also rather a lot of coffee.:eek:

I'm maintaining but went a little off the rails recently so am being careful for a few days before it translates into weight gain!
 
Hi.

Today Ive my sons 7th birthday party!!!!! Im going to eat before going, pack some "Woofy" snax`s and have plenty of fizzy water on the hip!!!

B. Coffee and bar
L. Chicken, mixed leaf salad with a dollop of mayo
D. Mixed meat curry with colli rice

Bar, painkillers and 2 glasses of white wine after a day with 23 kids at snakes and ladders. God help me!!!!

Oh Love you, Laura. What a lovely thing to say, babes.

Im dieting for him, well both of them. Didnt want to be the "Fat Mum" at the school gates. Wanted to be able to chase them around the garden with out sweating and needing a sit down or worse still, 999 lol

My reward was the other day, my son said I was the Prettiest Mum at the gate and didnt have the biggest Mum anymore..... Yes, I did have a happy cry

So, being around all yummy party foods for 2 hours with shouting, excited kids isnt such a hard thing to do after all as I WILL NOT LET MY KIDS DOWN!!! and nibble. I will be chasing them with out the sweat... Happy days!! Best feeling then any cream cake!!
