What to do when you want to lose more but your body doesn't?

My body likes to be around 10stone but I like it to be around 9 stone. In the past I have just dropped my food intake massively and hammered the gym but this isn't maintainable or healthy. Has anyone else found this and what do you do to give your body that boost in the right direction?

i found also that when i made a big change i couldn't keep it up so it wasn't healthy in the long run. i usually put on more weight in the end!!

i suggest you find out you basal metabolic rate (bmr) and then start to count your calories everyday and see if you are in the ball park. I know them bmr tools are bit iffy, i did mine on 2 separate ones and got 2134 and 2380 or so but nearly the same;)

then i would find an exercise you enjoy, don't go hammering the gym or running every day cos chances are you won't be able to keep it up but introduce yourself gradually. get some support too, friends or so to go out walking with. walking is actually a fantastic way to lose weight:) and good luck!!
