Ok so im off to my mums for two weeks, she has no weighing scale at her house... do I take mine with me or do I have a surprise weigh in when I get back. I normally weigh in every single morning and if im struggling usually looking at the weighing scales will motivate me.

It just seems wrong to take my scales with me!!

I know what you mean by weighing yourself each morning lol. It might be nice for the surprise though?

It would be a lovely surprise but can i motivate myself to keep going for 2 weeks without a weigh in!! My mother has forbid me to bring scales,,, she says its a ridiculous thing to bring with you! She is hilarious!!

Well ill let u know wat i decide!! Was hoping for some more input on my thread but this forum is not as busy as it used to be :(

    Hi goose,

If it was me I'd definitely take the scales. As you say it is very motivating to see the your weight dropping. They may be a ridiculous thing to take with you as far as your mum is concerned but each to their own. Any thing that can help us get through the day is worthy in my eyes.

Oh hell yeah I would deffo have stashed my scales somewhere as 2 weeks without knowing would have tipped me over the edge!! :) this diet is so much a case of being strong willed & we deffo need the encouragement to carry on by counting every pound we lose! Well done goose a) smuggling them in b) your fab loss xx

Take scales all day. Given the nature of the diet, motivation is so important and if it is the scales that are pushing you through each day, then you did absolutely right taking them.
