Wow, your looking good in your photographs..... Your the same height as me and started at almost the same weight... have only been dieting for 5 weeks and have lost 1.5 stone so far but know I will not lose as fast on JUDDD. I swapped to JUDDD last week and on the first few UP days I didn't eat as much either, remnants of a TFR I guess, but this week has been much better and I have managed to eat more. Strangely on the day I ate the most calories including chocolate I lost 2lb.... ?

Good luck and I am sure it will all fall into place soon, really, just eat what you want with no guilt on your UP days, this diet does work.

Scales show a 2lb gain atm... So not awful!

i had a 4lbs gain this morn!! to be expected i suppose but we've got to give it a chance to work its magic! im going to take a week monday as my first prpoer weigh in day as ive got fri and sat as ups next week then sunday down so will weigh after that to get the true weight. i really hope JUDDD works, although ive fancied some food today, i know that tmrw i can eat what i want within the calorie limit so im just pushing through today!!

how has ur down day been so far??
 
hi littlemumma, wow your pics are really great, you have done so well. I know what you mean about trying to eat 2000 calories, i didn't know what to eat, but got there in the end with some alcohol, probably went over to be honest, but i don't really want to be doing that, so need to find some high calorie healthy food. Good luck to you.
 
Thanks :) i will never get to that again!! Looks awful! Ended having another up day yday! Lol went to a bbq and altho didnt eat masses - drank a fair bit of vodka! Still on the same 2lb gain tho so thats fine.
So DD today and il have ID tomoro im a bit hungover tho and soooo wana eat lol!!!! Xx
 
Considering today is my DD iv gained more weight than yesterday!!! 4lbs up so far!!! Soo frustrating - will give it til thursday and see how its going... But may have to re-consider, am literally force feeding myself on an UD and gaining 4lbs on a DD :O
On a positive note - cookin up a roast tomoro! My first in over 4months yummmm!

That's what scares me! Which is why I've decided to give JUDDD a miss until some others who are following have fantastic results and success stories to share, cause while JUDDD is still fairly new and the health benefits of alternate day fasting are still being researched it just worries me too much to try! Maybe I'll consider one day in the future but for now it's just straight up calorie counting for me :) hope you manage to shift those 4lbs! How are you feeling? x
 
Its abit saddening coz the weight i am today i was like 3 weeks ago, very frustrating!
The thing is i know i cant stay on CD forever so im gonna have to eat again at some point :O but im now wondering whether juddd would be better once ive shifted another stone and do i more for maintenance rather than weight loss.
Will give it a proper week and weigh in thursday and see the proper result!

Yeah definitely give it a week to see the overall result cause like many people have told me, weight fluctuates daily and especially with coming off a VLCD to eating food it's bound to have a bit of a shock on your system!

But it's not new, Dr Jonstons book was wrote in 2006. He did 10yrs of research before that, read the website you don't need the book. We have people on the forum who have been doing it for over 12wks and are consistantly losing weight. There are numerous reports of Non scale victorys such as dropping 3 dress sizes. The lbs won't drop off because this is not a vlcd, the weight loss is however comparable to weight watchers and slimming world. Saying that, being a previous vlcd'er, my weight loss on juddd is comparable to being on a vlcd after about 4wks when my loses slowed wayyyy down to only a lb or so a week. With vlcd all your liver cells are empty and when you first eat these will refill. Therefore when refeeding (with anything) you should expect again of up to 5lbs, something which the vlcd literature will tell you, however most people moving from vlcd to juddd don't experience this which I think is fab!

Re the fluctuating weight gain- stop daily weighing. You now have food in your system, and it weighs stuff. I daily weigh cos I'm curious, but I'm able to understand that the scales going up and down during the week don't matter. It's your single weekly wi (after a dd) that counts.

Considering on juddd that you don't cut out any food group, Can still drink and socialise, Can eat take out food and sweets, I think it's a plan that suits me and my lifestyle.

I swapped from SnS and have been on Juddd 10 days and have lost 5lb. My losses are better than SnS. The problem is you drank a lot of alcohol. Alcohol dehydrates your body and your body will then hold onto all the fluid it can for up to 3 days. Your high WI is likely to only be fluid. You can either wait out these 3 days or drink loads of fluid like on CD and it will flush the excess fluid out. The more fluid you drink the less it will hold on to.
 
Im not gonna give up - im gonna do it for all of august as a trial i need to get my head round the fact that 6lb losses can only happen on vlcd and i CANT do that forever!!!!!!!
Im having a ID today
Had half a turkey bacon sandwhich for brekkie (153 cals) and gonna fill up today on water so i can enjoy my roast later!!! Im soooo excited for a roast dinner!!!! :D
 
@laurenmay I think you need to pick a plan and start hun because going from forum to forum asking questions and having people take the time to answer then do the diet down and decide to 'try' something else, isn't going to get you to lose any weight hun ! Choose a plan and stick to it, like I have and I have lost weight simples.
@littlemumma give it time hun, you will get used to eating and I am sure your relationship with food will improve the longer you do it, enjoy your roast x
 
yes we are both in the same position, moving from a vlcd this being our first week. we are bound to have panics about our gains but just try and remember its water and will go down eventually. im going to re-evaluate in september because i'll have my measurements taking then too. im also looking forward to seeing the difference exercise makes to my body as i havent done anything over the course of CD so im hoping that my body will have a shock from the toning and develop a nice slender shape! we can only give it our best shot and follow the plan to get results, everyone on here seems to love it and get good results, mainly off scale such as inch loss, looser clothes etc, so we must focus on this too. we can do it!! xx
