Which sweetener is best for cooking?

Also where can I buy it? I have found a low syn recipe for strawberry cupcakes on the site and we have a picnic theme taster evening next week. Would like to try and make these at 2 1/2 syns each.

I use tescos own table top sweetner

Any sucralose based sweetener will be best -such as splenda- Tesco & Aldi both have their own brand versions which are a lot cheaper

Thanks for the replies, there is an Aldi not far from me, will swish in there tomorrow.

yeah any supermarkets own but try to avoid aspartame based sweetener to cook with , tesco now sells a sucrose based one
