White Bread

    I really cant eat brown or wholemeal bread! Can I eat white instead as my HexB or would I have to syn this?

    White bread doesn't contain enough fibre to be a 'b' choice, so you would have to syn it I'm afraid.

    That is so crap! I cant eat alot of fibre! I am really struggling with my HexBs!!!

    Urm...beg to disagree with you Harry'smom...you can have 2 slices of Hovis Nimble white bread as a HeB.

    Yes that's whatI was going to suggest. In general white bread doesn't have enough fibre but this particular one is high in fibre. it's difficult to find though as not many places stock it.

    I have managed to get hold of it in my local Asda and Tesco..you do have to be quick though, as I think everyone else has the same idea!

    B choices are there to make sure we get enough fibre though so if you have a problem with eating fibre, maybe you should talk to your consultant about an alternative hun?
