I've made it through LL by setting various goals aong the way but haven't had one for a while but have just had an a email inviting me to a works 'do' at the Dorchester on the 17th. It black tie (there will be roaylty there!) so I've got 10 days to find a fab dress and look fab in it.

Anna, might have to start a thread like yours to see which one is best. Oh the dilemmas of being slim. Before I'd have just gone to Evans and bought a black dress. Now-there's just so much choice. I love it!!

I'd quite like a prom style sress so I can show off my ankles but a long one is good too. I'm thinking NOT black as it's what I've worn for the last 10 years and it's time for me to change habits! Maybe red?

Size 10/12 depending on where it's from and if my boobs will fit in!

Not sure on budget yet. Made money selling my old clothes on ebay so I may just sod the budget and go for whatever looks best!
