I am so happy...i have lost 10lbs!!! I need to loose another 11lbs before my op on 14/01/09. I am on optifast and cannot believe i am not hungry!!! x

Well done, that's great! What is Optifast? My friend is due to have a band fitted sometime but she doesn't have a date yet

optifast is a meal replacement shake diet which is recommended pre-op to reduce not only weight but also size of your liver so that during key-hole surgery its not in the way...well thats what i think the dietitian said!!! i have lost 6lbs on the optifast(in 5 days) and the other 4lbs in the coulpe of weeks previous by just cutting out chocolate and crisps!
