I have reached reached day 11 and I have a social function at work and dying for a glass of wine.
I know people will say "Don't do it" but will two glasses really hurt?

Has anyone had sneaky glasses on SS+??? (CDC)

Haven't had a drink in 7 weeks:cry:. Made my decision to start CD and only eat and drink what i'm allowed. Wouldn't advise it. What's the point in having the 2 glasses of wine anyway? It would probably lead to more and the next thing you've half a dozen down your neck!!You may as well drink sparkling water. It's up to you but it could weaken your resolve!! Ketosis really is a comfort blanket - but once out of it all those hunger cravings come back and you might not get back on track.

Good luck with whatever you decide and enjoy yourself.:)

I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and chose not to drink. I thought it would be hellish but it was fine & i enjoyed myself just the same.

The link posted by fingerscrossed did it for me, its not really worth the risk plus the associated weakening of willpower means it could be disastrous in more ways than one.

I don't need a drink to have fun but I have cheated with a glass of wine or 2 in the last 3 weeks. In my second week on SS+ I went to a dinner and dance and ate chicken, potatoes and vege (and ssshhh dont tell... a bread roll). I did make my 2 glasses of wine last me all night though by watering them down with sparkling water.
I still lost 4lbs that week.

If I hadn't of cheated I probably would have lost even more... and it is a slippery slope as you cheat, still lose, so cheat even more as you know you can get away with it and then the jeans start getting tighter again!!!

So yes have the glass of wine if you really fancy it (I can see my rep power going down as I say this) but be prepared that the losses will slow down if you keep on cheating... I've lost 11lbs in 3 weeks compared to others who started on the same day as me and have been angelic and they've lost 17lbs already!!!

It depends how much of a loser you want to be........ I wish I had more willpower!!!!! :-( xx

Have fun whatever you do!! x
