Xmas 2012 Target..............

Can I join?

I have fallen off the wagon quite a bit. I joined WW 8 weeks ago and have lost 19.5 pounds but have not been back in 2 weeks.

I decided last night that I will go back and today is my weigh in.

I would love to be at goal by xmas - 70 pounds to lose

I think I'm looking at about a 3lb gain this week after a 4 day long celebration of my older sister getting married... it could be worse I guess... I'll see how it goes at WI on Friday ;)

Just had my weigh in 14 stone 13 pound - I put on 3.5 pounds.

I thought it would have been a lot more since I have not really exercised and have eaten loads.

The one thing my leader said to me was before she thought I could get to goal but now she is not convinced.

That is a horrible thing to say! It amazes me on here the things some leaders come out with,don't know if she was trying to encourage you to prove her wrong but it still shouldn't have been said,Thats good that the gain was less then you thought it would be.Good luck to you,we will support you :0)

My God, that is awful! Is there another meeting near you that you could go to instead? Honestly no leader should ever be saying anything like that, even if she thought she was going to motivate you that is still wrong. Please don't listen to her, ignore her completely actually, I would. You can and will lose weight so long as you stay focused on your goal and use the plan in a way that works for you.

She is normally a really nice lady, I thought she might of been saying it out of encouragement, well I hope so.

The meeting is ideal, next door to where I work.

Yeah I plan to stick to it 100%

Those holiday gains arent at all bad I think I gained like 6lbs in a week the last time I was on holiday!!!

Welcome to the newbies aswell.

WI day for me tomorrow its at 7.30pm - HATE late WI's.

Cant beleive your leader would say something like that to you at the end of the day she is supposed to be supporting you & giving you as much encouragement as possible - Maybe she was just having a wee off day
