When you are feeling like something sweet this fits the bill perfectly and only uses an 'A' and a 'B' choice 4 syns for the total dish. So you could eat the whole pudding and not feel guilty.

Take 3 slices Weightwatcher brown bread and spread with 2 tblsp mincemeat.
Cut into triangles and arrange in a small lasagne dish
Sprinkle with sweetener (canderel or similar)
Whisk 2/3 eggs with 200 ml skimmed milk
Pour over the bread
Bake for around 10-15 mins at 190C

Very very scrummy :D

Try it and let me know what you think. You won't be disappointed.

ooh, I was thinking of doing similar as I have some rather stodgy h/m wholemeal bread. I was going to use a granny smith/1 tbsp of mincemeat as a B too so that it would be a 2 HEB +1 HEA no syn

you've made my mind up, I'll be trying this tomorrow if I can buy eggs. will let you know how it turns out

just eating some now.. nom nom

used granny smith + 1 tbsp mincemeat (HEB)
stale homemade wholemeal bread 57g (HEB) - whizzed in blender to make crumbs
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
50ml skimmed milk from my allowance
1 tsp xylitol (1) sprinkled on top to make crunchy - I don't like sweeteners

not sure how long I cooked it for, as the electricity went off, and the cooker turns itself off, even when the generator is working grrr

the house smells like Christmas. Which is odd as its 40-odd degrees outside, and its almost July. Still scrummy though!
