Help with my meal out at restaurant please..

It's difficult. I would always discount everything you know will be 0 points - mushroom and red cabbage. Goats cheese I would point as cheese 1 point per 10g and I would reckon it would be about 40/50g cheese. Pancetta I would point as bacon (streaky bacon if there is a points value for it)...

    Slow cooker recipes

I make pasta sauce in mine, 2 tins of tomatoes, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, chilli, garlic - whatever free veg I have kicking about - 0 points and is lovely cos the tomatoes stew all day. I sometimes add 7/8 thin slices of chorizo too which I haven't pointed yet but can't be many - gives...

    Dinner suggestions - chicken

We make a foil pouch and put the chicken breast in, then in a screw top pot put juice of a lemon (for 4 people), tbsp soy sauce, tbsp honey, 1 crushed garlic clove, 1tbsp wholegrain mustard (play around with those amounts). Shake the jar and divide between the pouches. Top the chicken with a...

What do you use as your inspiration?

So that when I have children I can hopefully have healthy pregnancies and then be able to run around after my children. Also the thought of being able to buy clothes from any shops and not just a select few.

    Excercise points values

I would say moderate too, as long as you weren't stopping between lengths, otherwise I would say low. I think there is something somewhere in the books which says how to decide on low/moderate/high.

    Hoorah for two breakfast days

I love it too, it's great that it is free and it has got a nice strong taste. I find it good for crumpets or toast as it at least gives some good flavour without having to have too much marg/butter.

    Hoorah for two breakfast days

Oh and I know it's not the same but we have been using I can't believe it's not butter light and I think that's got quite a nice taste, not butter but not bad.

    Hoorah for two breakfast days

Toast but with marmite (obviously only any good if you like it), crumpets, scotch pancakes, bagel with low fat cream cheese (I think you can get weight watchers ones), turkey rasher sandwich (i think 3 are 1 point). Will try to think of some others.

Treats - what do you do?

I have quite a high daily points allowance so I allow myself a low point treat every day and then save points for a higher point treat on a weekend like a meal or a bottle of wine. That's why I like weight watchers, it is totally flexible. And like others on here i can't cope without a treat...

Hi hun Just wanted to let you know I am in a very similar situation to you. I started following WW again in January before DH and I start trying for a baby and I was so shocked to see the scales say 20 stone 12. I knew I had put on weight but I hadn't realised I had put on soooo much. I am...

I found one in my tesco's a couple of weeks ago in the ethnic food section that had half the cals/sat fat as the low fat one on the normal shelf. And it was a quarter of the price too. Check some of the other brands as you might be surprised at them.

How often do you weigh yourself?

I only weigh in once a week now. I did fall into the trap of stepping on a few times a day but it dented my confidence if I saw weight had gone up or not lost what I thought, even if I had a decent loss overall for the week.

    I love weightwatchers because.......

I love WW because it makes me really think about everything I put in my mouth. The points system is also really logical and makes it easy for me to know when I've eaten all I can.
  65. G

Kinda losing the plot just now

Evening is worst for me too for snacking so you have my sympathy. I try to make sure I have some points left for a snack at the end of the day. Or if I'm desperate to snack and have no points I go for sugar free jelly. Have you got a good list of low point snacks?
  66. G

To count or not to count activity points?

I don't count them (unless I'm desperate for something at the end of the day lol). I do write them on my tracker (just for my info) but don't bother including them in my daily allowance. I'm never sure tbh if I've calculated them correctly so I just use any exercise as a bonus!!
