    Thanks! The risotto is indeed homemade. It's ridiculously easy too. Fry some onions in olive oil, then add the arborio rice. Then add vegetable stock bit by bit till the rice is cooked.     Have you put your scales in a different room? When I move my scales from the wooden kitchen floor to the carpetted living room floor, I gain about 20lbs.

    Try not to worry about day-to-day fluctuations. No doubt with all that exercise you're converting some of the fat to muscle - which can only help the weight loss in the long run. You're doing it right by the sounds of things, you just gotta give it a bit of time. BTW I'm a veggie too *waves...

    Nothing to add as to why you might be gaining, but best of luck with it. It sounds like you're doing your body a goodness by eating right and exercising - keep at it hun!

    Same! Whenever I've tried to lose weight before I've become obsessive, tried to go ever more restrictive and of course that's just not sustainable long term and so I give up. The best thing about the healthy eating this time is that I'm actually really enjoying my food, and not feeling deprived...
