C25K .... Overture and beginners please!

I'd say trust the programme, and do Week 4. Everyone's different, but I spent the whole time not believing I was ready for the next step up. I was ready. I did do it. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

C25K .... Overture and beginners please!

I am too, but I'm beating myself up less about that. I like these quotes: "If you run, you are a runner. It doesn’t matter how fast or how far. It doesn’t matter if today is your first day or if you’ve been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership...

C25K .... Overture and beginners please!

Isn't it just the BEST feeling! I really don't know how C25K 'works' in such a short space of time, but it's amazing what we can achieve if we give ourselves the chance. I'm proud of myself today, and it sounds like you're proud of you too! Love it!!

C25K .... Overture and beginners please!

It really is psychological! I think I'm starting to get the better of my head :) I ran just short of 5k this morning. If I'd realised quite how close to 5k I was, I'd have run a bit more to get a 5k time. This only happened because I revisited W5R3 last week, determined it would not be a...

    Vegan anyone?

I've lost my way recently, after hitting target over a year ago, so any support and encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I think it's time to look at some vegan/veggie food diaries for inspiration!

Anyone Maintaining Who Wants Help And Mutual Support To Stay Put?

I think that's a really good idea, both for Lifeline Online, and the new app we'll be getting (soon?) I know maintainers aren't SW's income, but they are great adverts! After all, we're likely to have spent a lot to get to our targets, so have paid our dues.
  13. C

Anyone Maintaining Who Wants Help And Mutual Support To Stay Put?

Am I missing something here? If I'm advised to increase my HEs, is there a way I can tell Lifeline Online to let me have an extra one? Hmm, something tells me SW haven't quite got their support for maintainers right!

Anyone Maintaining Who Wants Help And Mutual Support To Stay Put?

Well, as I got to Target last night I thought I'd have a read through this thread to get some tips on how I now go about maintaining! I've lost 4st, seen clothes sizes come and go, feel so much better in my skin, and don't mind saying I'm very proud of what I've achieved! However, I drove away...

28g of Arla Lactofree is listed as HEA on all plans, and HEB on Green.

  63. C

Newly added (vegan cheese) HEA and HEB

Good to see that Pure Soya Slices (vegan cheese) have now been added as a HEA on all plans, and HEB on green. They might not be everyone's cuppa, but they do make an OK 'cheese' on toast, and are quite easy to find, so get my vote!

    CHOCOLATE WEETABIX...

Depending on what you're like with gloopy textures, try them with a hot vanilla-ish soya milk. I loved it, but I do tend to turn to comfort food sometimes! ETA: Just realised you've already tried them in all their warm gorgeousness.

    Camping advice ..

I like Piglet's suggestion: "And you can do it in your head and not tell anyone." SW eating can often look like you're not 'on a diet' anyway, so if you're with people who're not familiar with it, they'll think you've decided to just eat what you fancy!

    Camping advice ..

When I went camping I tried to stick to the plan as much as I could. I wasn't too precious about it, but did stay conscious of the choices I made, and we cooked a lot of our own food. When I came back, at my next weigh-in (after missing one) I'd lost 3lbs, so it was worth it from my point of...

I'm not vegan, but I am long-time vegetarian, dairy-free, and quite intolerant of eggs (so try to avoid them). I've followed Green exclusively, and have had good losses (2st in 4 months so far).
