    So I had a fantastic loss in week 1 of 11 lbs. Week 2 came and I am disheartened. I had a 4lb gain. I am logigng it up to having an afternoon weigh in and totm. SIGH:cry:

    Exercise, resistance training

    At the moment I've been doing cardio i.e. zumba, metabolic and spin but I also try to do some resistance with power pump. Its really tough going though as I'm on Week 3 of SS.

    I have exactly the same problem. I am coming to the end of Week 2 and my scales have gone up if anything as I am currently on. It is demotivating but just remember why you are doing this in the longer term. Keep at it and as CMC9009 said it is just retained water so you will have a better loss...

    shakes at work

    Thank you everyone!!! I ended up using one of my son's baby bottles to shake until I got a shaker. My CDC said I couldn't have tetras until week 2 so it made this week difficult but its done and now the weekend. I am at home and have the freedom to use my blender :)
