Nandos confusion!

Hi!!

I love a bit of nandos but I'm really confused - when I calculate the syns from the double chicken burger (no mayo) using the nutritional info on the website I get 8 syns but when I do a manual search for nandos double chicken burger (no may) it comes up 28.5 syns?! This is a massive difference and I kinda think 10 would be more suitable - 8 for the bread and 2 for the chicken marinade. I dont get how they work out the syns online at all, can anyone enlighten me??

Is it set to red/EE/ and not green? This has happened to me?

I Know what you mean hun, I have found this a bit of a difficult area too. Especially as my boyf works in a Nando's restaurant and as a result we end up eating there a fair bit. I always used to have the chicken in pitta, as I knew this was around 350 calories, even with mayo. I then thought if I took off the mayo it would be even less than this With SW I still thought the chicken pitta no mayo would be a good option as it seems least bad but then I saw 19.5 syns on the website. Now when I go I have corn (no butter), spicy rice, butterfly chicken breast - this seems to come to about 8/9 syns if I remember rightly. I, like you thought that with the pitta, I would only have so syn for some peri peri (2) and then a large white pitta (7.5) - making it less than 10 syns if you have no mayo. I get that their pittas are pretty big, but I tend to cut half off anyway so to think that is 19.5 syns seems a bit much!

I didnt set it to any day, im not sure I fully understand how that part works either - say Im on EE would i ever select the red or green option?? (i.e. mash potato, would I select green - potato??)

I have no idea I just looked nandos up on the ap and the chicken breast burger - no mayo is 23 syns regardless what day, which is obviously no right!
