Wow - why fasting? Is she a type 1 diabetic? Sounds brutal ;)

Everything went good ;) still can't have a Baby but I'm getting there :) xxx

Yeah.. on insulin. . It is brutal watching her.. err is it juddd style she's doing. . I did it for a bit it was hard without sugar issues! !


Im waiting to try for baby too... tough. . But we get there eventually!

See my consultant about 4/5 times a year and my diabetes specialist nurse I have access to 24/7 really if needed .. It's a good system where I'm looked after :)

Their putting a sensor on me to look at my sugar levels 24/7 to see what needs adjusting - just annoying that its another thing to try and hide under clothes lol xxx

That is a really good service. I'm glad they're monitoring and hopefully they'll get it sorted x x x

Oh we must be in similar boats then ... Annoying that ppl can just get pregnant when they choose ...... I need the doc to say I'm allowed - my whole pregnancy will have to be planned and I won't be able to eat what I want - so I recon Ile do sw whilst pregnant but knowing my luck I won't be allowed to do that either lol! I hope you get your chance soon Hun ;) :) xxx

Aw thanks Hun!! I'm v lucky - my last team were horrendous and that's why I moved clinics - from Bolton to Manchester - my last clinic wouldn't allow me a pump coz (in their words) your not ill enough :( ridiculous !!! X
 
So glad you've got a better team now. It's ridiculous that the other team said that, I think a lot of it comes down to spending money with the NHS :( Ian had a vac dressing on his foot and they said they wouldn't use the foam because it cost too much, a couple of months down the line he had it on because the other one hadn't work. It would have been more cost effective to have used that in the first place. They should give you what is going to make you better x x

Yessss defo! Why not give a diabetic a pump coz years down the line their guna be spending money on a kidney transplant or even a leg amputation .... Which both include so much more stuff to facilitate - iv said this all along ..... And your Ian is another prime example - surely using the best works out more cost effective and less hassle n suffering for Ian, just like buying a coat - you could spend 100 and it lasts years but spend 20 and end up buying a new one every few months! This country is ridiculous isn't it? X
 
Ooo forgot to add - clinics scales weighed me lighter than I did at home so hopefully Ile have lost something on Friday ....... Plus, Doc wants up up my levothyroxine to 150mcg eeekkk .. He recons my voice has gone huskier & I also mentioned how bloody hard my weight loss is ... X
 
& I did body attack today - bloody felt like I was having an attack - soooooo hot in the room we did it in - thought I was guna vom .... It was a class that burns atleast 600 Cals but I Recon I sweated off 600 Cals and burned another 600 Cals too pahah!!! X

Ha ha ha ha, well done on sweating all those calories. You must be mad doing that in this weather. And yes this country is mad wastes money by trying to cut costs. We've got vac dressings and cartridges worth £100 per pack sat in the house, probably will end up being thrown because once it's left the chemist they can't be returned and used elsewhere. Where is the logic in that??? They're sealed so they're good to go but they won't use them and yet you ask for a new treatment which would do the job better and you're refused on costs!! Mad, just mad!!
And well done on the weight loss fingers crossed it will show at your WI x x

Stupid aint they?!!! Iv seen loads of stuff wasted .. Annoys me so much wen poor countries can't even afford to treat their sick!

Haha, I thought I was mad too !!! Nearly died in that gym class lol !!!

Doubt Ile be loosing got totm today booooooooooo :( gutted !! But explains why iv been so irritable & depressed lately xxx

It might not be too bad, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :cross: It's probably the heat's made it go funny, I hate that you look forward to eating something to find it's not right :( Not surprised you nearly died in the gym I've been outside 4 hours doing the garden and feel half dead lol x x x
