1,000,000 meters rowing challenge

in a bid to tone up my bingos i am going to row a million meters :)
starting today :) it takes me 60mins to do 10,000 so my target is to achieve this in 6 months anyone else is welcome to join me on this journey :)

Yes please do :) need some company :) I've lost 7stone and have another 3stone to lose but want to tighten up thighs,bingos and tum as getting married next year in sleeveless dress :)

I do 10k then do 60mins on the crosstrainer :) a bit of variety also one day a week i do 1hr personal training plus 30mins boxing and then an 10k on rowing :) Im thinking about doing 20k a day on the rower though :) seeing results already from the rowing :)

lol yes it took me 124mins to do it, my bum was pretty stiff but i'm seeing results already so will try and keep doing the 20k :) it seems to be reducing my muffin top! lol what all women post 30 suffer from!
 
lol I dont race myself but I try to go as fast as i can, my technique was a bit off and have just been given tips to improve my efficiency :) well dyone BB :) hope some others come and join us... there is a guy at the gym who is on his eighth million and he only does rowing and is toned all over he is my inspiration. i thought originally 50k a week would be enough but now have upped it to 100k a week, its about 10hours of rowing but the results i've been getting are so encouraging plus I'm burning about 1200 cals per 20k so hopefully will lose some weight too :) obviously i'm being extreme so don't feel you have to keep up with me, will probably row a second million after this one anyway.... i just want to focus another goal as the scales are discouraging!

LOL I'm not happy with certain bits and rowing seems to target those areas better than anything else. Endurance is my thing but I certainly couldn't do 5k in 20mins that is fast, the quickest i've done 5k is 26mins but maybe I'll get quicker as the more i do it and my stroke is well improved already, would love to be able to complete 20k in 110mins as opposed to 121 that i did today, perhaps a mini goal to go for... i get abit slower after about 90mins my bum is well numb lol

I dont work atm so have the time to go 5 times a week :) I want to tone up my tum as have a tight fitted dress to wear on the 24th, hopefully all this extra hard work will pay off and I will look good, thats me current shortterm motivation to be doing 100k meters a week lol wish some more people would join in, its such a great whole body exercise :)
