Extra Easy 1/3 superfree

    Sometimes I don't always fancy having veg with my meal is it ok to......

    a.) Have a vegetable soup to start
    b.) Have fruit for dessert

    ......and would that count as 1/3 superfree?

    That's perfectly fine. Just don't do as I do sometimes which is to fill up so much on my meal that I don't have room for my fruit afterwards. That defeats the purpose of the superfree with your meal as its supposed to make you eat less of the non superfree. I'm now trying to have more veg with each meal or at least have a veggie starter.

    As long as the soup is home made vegetable soup, no problem, and as long as you are having the soup with the meal, then the fruit could be used as snacks instead of with the meal.

    They are homemade. I love butternut squash soup - just bnut squash, onion and stock. I could eat it every day! :p

    I have rediscovered nutmeg recently. It's lovely in leek and potato soup too. And rice puddings.

    I have a little grater with a compartment at the top to hold the nutmegs, and I just love the smell as it is being grated!

    Or some curry powder that zings it up lovely.
