    Hi everyone,

I have a meeting booked with a counsellor next tuesday, which will be my first meeting. I'm quite nervous but very excited! Was wondering whether anyone can tell me what to expect? Will I be allowed to start the diet at the end of the meeting? How hard is the first week?

Thanks everyone, you are all inspirational!

Also, do you have one item for each meal (e.g. one bar or shake?). I know you can have tetra briks as well, what other options are there?

    Thanks everyone!

    Hi and welcome :)
Well done on taking the first step!! Whether you can start straight away depends on whether you'll need forms signed by the doctor. Your CDC will advise you on this. Good luck for your meeting! xx

    lol, they are backwards!

I hope I can start on tuesday, I really just want to get started now whilst I'm in the right frame of mind!

I'm really glad I found this forum - reckon it'll help me in moments of weakness! everyone seems so supportive.

Could any of the CDC on here (or anyone else) explain under what circumstances the forms need signing by a doctor?

    thanks everyone,
    Liz

As far as im aware.. if you have certain pre-existing medical conditions, are on medication, or have a BMI of over 40 :)

Thats great - thanks for the info.

If you don't need a GP to sign the form (which I don't think I do) did you take home the products that day and start the diet the next day?

Also, I'm slightly worried about getting all the water down me, I don't really drink a lot normally (which I know is bad for me!) so does anyone have any tips about making the 3 litres a bit easier?

    Thanks,
    Liz

I came home with my packs and started the next day - it really was easy.

best of luck (am sure you don't need it though!)
