Well done Minks xxxxxxxxx :D
Awesome week - have you done anything different? Please share :flirt2:
I am going to have a good week too ;)........weigh in tomorrow and have sneaked a peek :p
This week I have had a lot more fruit and have used wholemeal pitta pockets instead of bread - they have been lovely crammed with salad and choice of ham, boiled egg or chicken.

Hope everyone else is ok xxxxxxxx

Don't know that I done anything majorly different to be honest! I did make a vegetable slow cooker casserole thing earlier in the week that had cannelini beans and kidney beans in it so maybe the bulk of them have assisted. I have also made a bit of an effort to actually stop eating when I feel full rather than eating everything on my plate! Was always told to finish everything before leaving the table as a child and it stuck throughout life.

Fingers crossed I can manage something like this next week too! Well done on being back on it this week and fingers crossed for tomorrow! Xxxx

Love the slow cooker ....... Family favourite is beef stew and it feeds us for 2 days syn free!

I have done green days all week so mine was just lots of veggies, tomato, chilli, and the beans. Super yummy, 2 portions on Tuesday (had pork loins with it as a HexB), 2 portions on Thursday with extra veg (cauli, brochure and cabbage), portion for lunch yesterday - I snapped some spaghetti into it while it was hot so it cooked without having to use another pan! - and enough left for another portion today! Cheap as chips and lasted all week! Might even have it on a jacket spud for lunch with HexA cheese nom nom nom! Xxxx

Went out for a friends birthday last night I tried to be good but failed :( guess I may have ruined my week.

I managed to stay on diet coke all night, for the meal I had steak, salad, peas, mash (no butter) and pepper corn sauce. Then I had a roly poly and custard for desert :(

How many syns do you think I managed to rack up?

xxx

Diet coke is free, steak is free as long as you didn't eat the fat, peas are free and mash is free with no milk or butter, the salad is superfree...

Not sure on the sauce, how much of it do you think you had?

And the roly poly and custard? You probably over did it there, but not by that much. You probably had like 20 syns for the entire meal. That's not too bad. Carry on today as normal. Don't be too hard on yourself. This diet is designed to fit into our every day lives, and we can't sit at home afraid to socialise because of a possible STS. :)

This sounds fab Minky, I haven't got a slow cooker but had wondered about investing in one.

I went out to the post office earlier, first time since becoming poorly, I couldn't believe how weak I felt. Made sure that I had some lunch quorn and veg stir fry, but could only eat a small portion - still an improvement on yesterday.

Oo these threads are a good idea! I guess good to see how quickly people in the same weight bracket are loosing! I am 15,9! Hoping to loose 5lbs ASAP to get to my 3 stone! Also wana get in to the 14s ASAP!

Doing a bit of a scan bran challenge this week! :)

I hope you were successfu in your interview and did not get tempted with lovely cakes and chocolates.

I like to work in France but my French is not good enough and no way I can get a similar job over there.

Hi Rosie
The interview went well and I stuck to plan as much as I could
My French is very poor but it will come back!
I don't really need it for my job but would be good to be able to converse!
Brought back some nice cognac but stayed away from chocolate pastries or macaroons!

If it makes you feel any better I have just got back from the OH's mothers for dinner and had Apple pie and Custard.
Pretty synful dinner actually, kinda worked out the yorky puds, roasties, gravy and pudding (oh and half a glass of wine) to be a total of 27 syns. But I am cool with that, I didnt over eat and I have the rest of the week to take some syns off. Hope you are ok and not fretting over your pud mis hap (and I hope you enjoyed it too :D) xxx

Minks is right.......Slimming World is real food for life and living involves eating........especially in my case!! I have had a cadbury's creme egg and a small glass of wine to round off the weekend nicely xxx
Planning the slow cooker special of beef stew again tomorrow by special request of hubby but don't mind at all - completely syn free and soooo tasty!
