I am South African, from Durban, where the most famous and favourite street food is called a "bunny chow" (a curry served in a hollowed out bread). I decided to give my group a taster of my home country by making mini bunny chows in halved wholewheat rolls, which were syn free if you counted the wholewheat roll at your HEB. They went down a storm and invited lots of discussion. (But it did help that our group has a microwave to make sure they were served hot)

But the things I enjoyed tasting at the evening were mainly the SW puds and cakes which I never make at home because
    a) I have a mindset that "cake" can't be low syns (even though I know they are when I read the recipe) and
    b) dear OH doesn't eat sweets at all and there is nobody else at home to help me polish off any yummies, so I don't trust myself to stick to one serving if I really enjoy it.
So I really enjoyed the opportunity to taste these items.
