I've been very sceptical about tonights weigh in as there wasnt a day that I felt hungry and have eaten like a queen!
Apart from the bottle and half of wine that I drank Saturday night (unplanned and still annoyed with myself...Satruday nights are my downfall as I like a few drinkies) I have stuck to the plan.
So hope SW works for me.

Don't worry about it! I eat like a horse and I lost 9lbs in my first "week" (actually Monday thru the next Friday - 11 days) and 3lbs in my second (just Friday thru Monday - 3 days).
I find that I can only very infrequently drink alcohol but that's definitely something that isn't true for everyone.

Have vodka and coke and cut the wine....that's what I do on Sat nights and still lose!

Good luck Hun, will be thinking of you. Sure it'll be fine though, one slip up in the week, and your first week will still mean a loss as you been on plan the rest of the time.

I`ve taken to having gin and diet tonic. Far less syns than wine.

It took me ages to realise that I could eat as much as I do and still lose weight.
In fact, I`ve found that if I don`t make time to eat that`s when I either maintain or gain!!

I`m sure weigh in will be fine. Good luck!!:)

Only lost 1/2 lb.....totally gutted! Dam you wine........

Stick with it. I only lost 0.5lb in my first week, then the following week I lost 2.5lbs followed by 6lbs!! Looking at your stats, I do have more to lose, but you will still see good losses. Your body could just be adjusting to your new way of eating, and you could see a good loss next week. So, don't lose heart, keep with it and you will see a difference.

Thanks Elanor, so disappointed with myself.....came straight in from WI grabbed a packet of crisps and sulked in bed! I've signed up to the 6 week payment scheme so going to see how it goes.

It is just one day :) Just use tomorrow as a fresh start. We all have days when we have something maybe we shouldn't, but we are human. In the grand scheme of things you have changed your way of eating, and that is a good thing, one packet of crisps won't ruin that. Good luck, and Minimins is great place for advice and support :)

Well done! Don't be disappointed, its half a pound that you hadn't lost last week, and half a pound a week is two stone over a year!
My mum started slimming world about 6 weeks after I did (the first time, about 3 years ago) and she mostly lost 1/2lb - 1lb a week, and she went from a size 18, and she has now been a size 8 for a couple of years.
Don't lose faith in yourself! Weight off is weight off :)
