1st weigh in today

Hello, I have these days here I nearly convince my self that I wont lose any this week, but come time I step on the scales it's a brighter outcome than I was expecting. Thing to remember tho is if it isn't a good outcome on the scales, not to get to down and head straight for the fridge and to keep positive and stay on track for the next weigh in.

Thanks I'm trying to stay positive today and stay away from the fridge lol! Hoping that I will feel better after weigh in tonight to give me the drive for the next week ahead. I think it's just because it's my first weigh on and I don't have a weight loss number to help me stay positive yet. I'll update tonight after weigh in :)

well done, i had my first weigh in tonight also and lost 3lb, was happy with that as i had a few drinks at the weekend and thought i wouldnt lose anything :) good luck for the week ahead x

Great start! Well done for such a good first week. I'm really not a fan of the WI (it's as if all the week's effort condenses into that one measurement ... which can feel really scary) but it can really be a motivating force when the scales match what we've done. When it doesn't I try and remind myself that whatever the scales say, if I'm following the plan it'll come off the next week instead. Tough to keep in mind, though, sometimes.

Here's too the next awesome week for us all!
