1st weigh in........

I was extremely excited yesterday to discover at my first weigh in that I had lost 7.5 pounds.

Now my excitment has faded after working out that i need to lose another 70 pounds to get to goal :(:(:(

I know its going to be a very long journey but 70 pounds just seems so daunting.....
 
Don't look at it as 70 lbs in one go.
Break it down- you just got your first half stone, aim for the second to make it a stone, aim for the next stone bracket etc :) It's much easier concentrating on smaller amounts like this like thinking 'oh god, 70 lbs'.
 
Yayy. Well done thats a brilliant first wk. I had 95 to lose at the start but have broken it down to small goals like first 7 lb , 5% etc and it oes not seem so daunting. I have lost 17.5 and achieved 3 of my mini goals. Hope this helps and the very best of luck to you x x
