20 somethings

Can you ladies help me! I need to buy a birthday pressie for someone who ive never met and she doesnt give anything away so im struggling lol shes a nurse and her fave colour is purple thats all I know and im not allowed to get smellies in case of allergies, also needs to be no more than a tenner. So far ive looked at a fob watch but they look a bit tacky for that price, what would you say is an acceptable present? Ive been looking at maybe a nice clutch bag or something as she seems to go to alot of night outs but could do with others opinions lol

Flowers are always good. A clutch bag sounds brilliant tp be honest. Scarves, purses, any accessory usually goes down well. Or pretty notebooks and stationary.

I'd go with a nice pashmina because she might get more use out of it x
 
I was the same with my syns pippa it's strange isn't it! When I started slimming world and my consultant explained the plan to me I just couldn't get it into my head that I could lose and have syns so I took it upon myself (much to my consultants annoyance) to not have my syns, I had maybe 1 or 2 syns 3 days a week maximum on little things like if I was frying mushrooms i would fry in butter and that would be my syns for the day. Or a tsp of ketchup or something. I managed well with this and lost every week from day one to target without missing a single week and had 2 stay the sames in that time, but when I got to target I had to allow myself syns to stop myself from losing and because I found it so hard to have my syns I kept losing for a while and changing my target lower. When I had my first gain I had a round of applause from my group as their words were 'Yes she is human!!' But on the other hand I know why they are there and they are important but for me allowing myself a few Jaffa cakes was not possible as once I would have started I would have had the whole roll and then justified a sharer bag of crisps because I'd already had the roll of jaffas so what more damage could be done?! It was a vicious circle!! This is a mega long reply haha!!

I think that's my problem, I'm an all or nothing kind of girl normally so I don't know if I could have syn foods in my house and not scoff the lot! I've also got myself used to cooking syn free for a couple of years because of the clean eating diet I was only when I lost my initial 3 stone so I don't find I need them for cooking.

Did you always use your HEX when you were losing? I'm not very good with those either...

What chicken things are these?
 
They are battered chicken breast steaks and they are apparently just 4.5 which is quite good for something battered but they are nice in a bun with lettuce and mayo
