250lb to lose - NEED help and friends for support

Some pretty good losses! :) If you check back over the first few pages of my thread it's all in there :) Please don't be too worried if it doesn't drop straight off again. And also make sure your evening meals are calorie -filled enough for you, not just the 600 it recommends as that's for people with only say a couple of stones to lose.

I know it will come eventually, I can't wait :)

Good tip re meal. I'm not being too strict, today I will have had about 1500 cals which I know is about 600 less than I should have to lose weight but it's also 300 more than SF recommends. I won't always have 1500, I will have more some days but I just want to give myself a good boost and let myself get used to the hunger xx

feel off wagon big time but crawling back up on it now been a horrid 2 weeks and ate for comfort again so mad at myself

I know how you feel. Why does food have such a grip on us?

Day 2 and I've already started off not as well as I'd hoped. Had to have a piece of toast super quick so I could take my totm tabs on an unempty stomach. Should have made up my shake last night. Will count the toast as my snack and have a shake a bit later once my painkillers have started working. Went to bed hungry last night which I haven't done for a long time. Woke up a bit shaky but had a quick shower then the toast. I have every intention of sticking to the plan again today :) doing quorn chilli for tea. Boy did I enjoy that pasta last night :) having 1 meal a day sure does make you appreciate your tea time! How did everyone else's Monday go? What are your plans for today? Xx

Just had tea. Was so glad of a hot meal :)

Had a pint of milk with 4 scoops of SF for a combined breakfast and lunch as I had the toast then fell back to sleep until 12:30!!! Totm really takes it out of me!!


Gonna have a snack with a cuppa tea and eastenders then that's day 2 over with. X

I don't want to sound like I'm nagging you, but please do try eat up near what your bmr is - otherwise your weight loss may slow or stop and i don't want that to happen for you - especially so close yo your wedding.

I'm just giving myself a boost for a week or so. I did very well in the past on 1700-1800 cals, I was losing 3-4lbs a week consistently for months so I'm going to do that at least until the wedding xx
 
Day 2 was a success :) haven't quite gone to bed yet but not intending on eating anything else today.

Tomorrow I'm going to do a pasta salad with some nice ham and cheese for tea. Looking forward to it already! X
 
My weigh loss is appalling this week. Been so good and lost 0.6lb in 5 days.

Well a loss is a loss I guess, have you been drinking lots of water? Are you due totm?

Just keep plodding on and try not to get frustrated by the numbers xxx
 
Day 3 and I have to trek downstairs to make myself a shake then take my tablets. Ugh. I wish I could just take my tabs without having to eat. Anyway it's day 3! Slow but surely the good days are adding up :) I'm a sucker for Chinese food but instead of that this weekend I've done a tesco order and got us the ingredients for a nice curry with some sides that I'll bake rather than fry so it'll feel a bit like a takeaway to have while watching xfactor :) In a week and a half it's my sons 13th bday. He doesn't want to go out, he wants a Chinese a movie and some popcorn. So as it falls on a Monday which is when I now weigh, it can be my treat. I will still have 2 shakes in the day and may be no snacks and drink plenty of water on the day and day after. So here goes day 3! Can't wait til day 7 so I can see how much I've lost, and my totm should be over then too! X

Great idea hun :) When I had my "treat" day (something from the chip shop) I had it on the Monday too as my weigh day, then you have the week to get rid of it, rather than it affecting if you have it over the weekend :)

Ended up having no slim fast yest but it was a bad totm day so didn't fancy a cold drink for lunch!

Going to have a better day today.

Last night we had the worlds biggest jacket potato with ham, cheese, coleslaw and salad. Was nice :)

Not sure what to do for tonight's tea. Maybe something with sausages.

How are you getting on? Xx
 
Great idea hun :) When I had my "treat" day (something from the chip shop) I had it on the Monday too as my weigh day, then you have the week to get rid of it, rather than it affecting if you have it over the weekend :) Well done love xx

Now we are having a surprise tea party on the Sunday with family so will be extra extra good next week to make up for party food and Chinese day after. Family will be there so I won't over eat so it'll just be as though I'm eating a normal tea anyway so should do too much damage.
