I have tried to lose weight many many many times before over the last 15 years. The Cabbage Soup Diet, The Cambridge Diet, Lipotrim, Lighter Life, Atkins, Weight Watchers, Slimming World etc etc.

I'm on Day 3 now of the Cambridge Diet which I have tried at least 5 times before. My cambridge counsellor, not knowing that this was my not my first attempt, said that it is rare for someone to make it work if they've tried and failed in the past.

It's become laughable, another day a different diet. I think everyone close to me has kinda given up hope that I will ever lose weight.

I'm now 19st 5lbs and 6ft 1inch..BMI approx 35.

But in an odd way the realisation that there is absolutely no expectation whatsoever from anyone (including myself) that just might work in my favour.

A few days to get you into ketosis and you'll be fine. You can stick two fingers up at the doubters. If I can do this, anyone can!! Good luck honey
