Ok......... bit late in deciding menu, but I wanted your help...

I'm cooking 3 course dinner tonight for Marc and I, no special occasion, just I have the whole day off and love cooking.
    This is what I've planned.

    Starter: Pea and mint soup
Main: Scallops with bacon and spring onion mash
    Dessert: Tirimisu

I'm basing the meal on green, think the soup is free. Scallops (1B) and bacon (1B). Tirimisu... I'm hoping will squeeze it's way into only 10 syns.

Can anyone suggest anything less synful?

Well, I've stuck with tirimisu but tried to make it healthy by using quark and sweetner instead of cream / mascapone and sugar. I've added some Baileys though... and some strawberries.

Goodness knows what it'll taste like, but fingers crossed the quark will be ok.

Just made the pea and mint soup - it's GORGEOUS, and free too!! Will post recipe later if anyone wants it. x

Pea and Mint Soup...... it wasn't quite as gorgeous as I thought, but free on green and really easy.

Boil a litre of water on the hob.
Add mint leaves and bring back to the boil.
Add half a bag of peas and boil for about 5 minutes.
Drain the peas, but keep the liquid.
Add peas and mint to food blender.
Add enough of the liquid just to cover the peas in blender.
Blend for at least 2 minutes.
(optional add a spoon of creme fraiche)
Add plenty of salt and pepper
    Serve.

Let me know how you get on. x

It was lovely thanks, made boyfriends with mascapone and cream - so I only ate a spoonful of my quark one and then ate most of his.

Hehehe, oh well, I burnt the kcals off doing all the washing up!!!!!!

The pea soup was nice, made me feel really healthy, though it needs lots of black pepper to spruce it up a bit.

Rainbow - haha, no actually, I had toothache so sent him home. x
