30 day shred!

omg its killed me today sitting down had hurt, walking had hurt..... I can hardly see beyond day 3 neva mind 30! piff! Must get easier, also im getting headaches i suffer with a bad neck so i may have not do the sit ups! but ill fudge it tomoz, my h2b said he'd do it with me sat bless to see if im keeping my neck in a correct position x x

My OH did it with me too.....once!!!!

Are you keeping your chin off your chest and looking at a point on the ceiling when doing the sit-ups? I find that helps me from taking the strain on my neck.
 
yes as far as im aware i am! I am really struggling to do push ups like i just cant nor can i do jump rope!!! Day 3 done but its not getting easier well it is im less dying but still if u get me hahaha! Has anyone actually finished it? ive not seen or read many ppl that have! Im not even skinny so i dont even know what dif it will make im 14 stone so i hope i tone up at least ha! Heres hoping for 12 stone for my wedding x x im tall so i carry it really well ha x x

I did it this April, 30 days in a row. I'm afraid to say I didn'y lose any inches, certainly not the huge losses I'd heard other people mention. I did lose 6lbs while doing it though.
 
I finished it recently and didn't lose any weight. BUT I did lose 10 inches overall and feel and look much better. I think it's worth persevering. It does get "easier" as you become stronger and fitter.
 
hows everyone gettin on? im doing this AGAIN! lol ive tried twice before, but got bored after a week, im on day 5 today, and determined to finish this time!! hows everyone else doing??
 
Hi everyone I am starting the shred today eek! I have started it a few times before but always find excuses after a few days, too tired, too busy etc but giving it my best shot now! X

The first time I did this I did it in 30 days straight in April. As November also has 30 days I should really be setting myself the goal of doing at again by the end of the month........not holding out much hope but we'll see!

Good luck! I found it hard going the 1st time around but love that it's only 25 minutes. I'm not very motivated just now, I need to get exercising again!

Well, after this morning and seeing you all on here - I did day 1 / level 1! Boy was it tough, but I am all fired up and I am going to do this!! It is only 25 mins, and I can suffer - ahem, I mean - work out for that length of time!!

She's a tough cookie though isn't she that Jillian?!!!! xxx
 
I just have a quick question, as I'm (almost) at target would doing the shred be ok for me (I want to tone up but not lose weight if that makes sense?) but I want to do it on top of my 3/4 gym sessions. Do you's reckon it'll be okay for me? Any advice would be great. Thank you :)
 
For toning I would definitely recommend it. I've lost my exercise mojo just now but when I was regularly doing this my arms, legs and abs were noticeably toned.
