Haha lazy pusskins :)

As a child we always had 4 so as an adult I decided 4 was the right amount. It sounds a lot but really it isn't. Unless one in on my lap and the other gets jealous and they both end up with a knee each facing away from eachother :D

2 have migrated to my husband so they squabble over him :)
Hershey, Robbie, Coral and Noodle <3

Ok I'm in bed and have had agood day food wise so jan 2nd was a success! I am going from the weight I was after xmas after I gained the 5lb so that's 422 (yuck) but anyway, onwards and downwards. It's just a number. I'm working hard for my first stone as that's when I get my first sponsor on the sponsored slim :) xx

Well done on a good day, love the clock :)

I had about 4 hours of sleep last night after I took my tablet before bed, it's more than the last 3 nights but still not enough! But now it's 11 hours later the tablet has taken effect so I feel worn out but unable to sleep :( ugh

So I got up and made a yummy breakfast. I made breakfast tarts. Here's Joe's plate:

I didn't have egg or beans on the side, I don't eat egg so just had beans and bacon on my tart. Was very filling! That should keep me going well past lunch time!

I'm doing chorizo and bean stew for tea and I'm
Going to make my own bread. Haven't done it for a long time so I hope it turns out ok :) x

Looks lush! How do you make the tart? Also I think those are the same plates as us :) great taste lol

Lovely :) we sometimes do a pastry pizza like that and it's yum. Probably very high cals though.

Do you know the hardest thing I find is at the start of a new plan feeling like it's going to be worth it. At my weight it takes so long to see results and so it's easy to give in. Twice already I have had to say to myself just take it a day at a time and it will add up. Not felt like giving in but I think I just know it's going g to be a hard slog to really get anywhere near the end of this.

I'm the same - I do really well for a couple of months then completely lose all impetus!

Lovely brunch there Hershey! I hear you on the no sleep thing, just had to have a kip on the sofa until the cat took a swipe at me (I think she wants out but it's pouring buckets).

I know what you mean. Think of this way though, if you had started this new plan last January and stuck to it, right now you could be 10 stone lighter! So don't waste this opportunity and keep thinking of next christmas. Keep your eye on the goal. Is that chocolate bar or bag of crisps of takeaway really worth it? Resist having bad days and you'll always wake up feeling so much happier and proud of yourself that you had a good day. Take each meal and each day at a time. Look how quick last year went. Next christmas I can guarantee you will look back on today and it'll be like you blinked. Me and you met on here 3 years ago!! 2012. You blinked! Now we are here! If we had stuck to it we could be size 10 models :D I know your struggle exactly as I live it too but I am here doing it and so is candy (trim) and chezz from 2012 and we will make this our year. Each good meal turns in to a good day, each good day turns into a good week and each good week turns into a good month and they all turn into results. Thrive on seeing the numbers go down, make it your mission. Weigh daily if you have to, do anything to keep you going. Use my bday 4th feb as a mini goal along with me. Do you have something that's a bit tight on you? Try it on, take a selfie and then determine that the next time you try it on on 4th feb it will fit. It's just less than 5 weeks away. You can do it. We all can. Do you know how I know? Because we are all still here. We have never given up. Food is never as good losing weight. Ever. Resisting something will make you feel ten times better than eating it will xxxxx
