5k Race for life in June. . . My goal!!

I have decided that the Race For Life event in June will be my goal date

New ticker maybe?! hehehe

Me and Rebecca20uk are going to do the same one together!

Soooo cant wait, gonna be great fun and im really looking forward to it.

Anyone else doing race for life this year?

Yes! I've signed up for the Plymouth one in June- not done it before, I plan to be at goal then and really want to run it!

Hi Hayley, I am starting training on the 16th of Feb with my firend who is already a runner to do the Race for Life. I am hoping to run it and I am also hoping the trianing will help with my last 11lbs left to lose to get to goal.

I've decided that I'm doing it too. Turns out that a couple of my friends are going to be doing it this year too. It might just kill me, but I'm determined if it's the last thing I do! I'm not sure I'm going to be able to run it, CFS and an ankle injury might throw that idea out, but as long as I finish, I'll be happy!

Caroline - thats fanatastic, I did the first year with CFS and a cracked bone in my right foot. . . took me over an hour to hobble round but i didnt raise £200 for nothing! Great to hear your going for it

Zoe.D - Good luck with training hun, its nto so hard to do the 5k with a bit of effort put in before hand. Good luck losing the last 11lbs too
