I'm almost finished "A piece of cake" by Cupcake Brown(a true story),this is a brilliant book about an American woman who lost her mum at 11 years old,ended up in the welfare system,was abused,became a junkie and an alcoholic,and managed to pick herself up and sort herself out.I couldn't put it down,quite shocking ,sad:cry: ,happy and at times amusing .Highly recommended!

didn't see the earlier thread about this book.I'm too cold to function today:coffee:...a nice hot one..that's what I need!
