A question for any runners out there...??

Hi,

I started the gym a month ago and could just about run 3 minutes, but i've built it up and I can now run for 30 minutes comfortably. (speed 7.2, distance 2.38 miles, and heart rate 166)

As my body gets more used to it will i need to push myself more to burn fat, and what stats should I really be aiming for??

I want to run race for life next year, and get a really good time which is 5k...:eek: any advice?

Hi hun,

Don't have any answers for you I'm afraid just wanted to say I have recently started running never realised how much I would enjoy it.

How many times do run a week??

Hi Gemma,

Well I've run on average 2-3 times a week at the gym, and when we were away last week at the mother in law's I ran out on the road, and i'm also doing this again tomorrow from home as I can't get to the gym!

I could never run as a kid, and never in a million years ever think i'd be able to do it and especially enjoy it as much as I do it's really giving me a good focus.
